Im Rahmen von Projekten sorge ich dafür, dass die Monitoring- und Netzmanagementsysteme an wechselnde Anforderungen angepasst werden können.
Das macht den Job für mich interessant: 50Hertz bringt die Integration erneuerbarer Energien voran. Der umfangreiche Netzausbau kann nicht ohne die Bereitstellung von IT-Infrastrukturen und Netzwerken realisiert werden. Als Teil des Teams Datacom arbeite ich daher unmittelbar an der Beschleunigung der Energiewende mit.
Meine Aufgaben:
- Durchführung von (Teil-) Projekten oder Projektaufgaben zur Nutzung, Neuinstallation, Erweiterung oder dem Rückbau von Monitoring- und Managementsystemen,
- Betreuung des vollständigen „Projekt-Life Cycle“ – von der Projektplanung bis zur Inbetriebnahme,
- Verantwortung von Prozess- und Ergebnisqualität,
- Anwendung und Optimierung von Standards und technischen Richtlinien,
- Technische Beratung einschließlich Machbarkeitsbeurteilung,
- Umfängliche selbstständige Steuerung von externen Dienstleistern.
Meine Kompetenzen:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik, Nachrichtentechnik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung,
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung und vertiefte Kenntnisse auf dem Gebiet der Netzwerktechnologien,
- Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Linux-Betriebssystemen, API-Programmierung, SNMP und Logauswertung,
- Ausgeprägtes Verständnis von Komponenten komplexer IP-Netzwerke und deren Zusammenwirken mit verbundenen Servern, Storages, Services,
- Fundiertes Verständnis betriebskritischer Infrastrukturen,
- Hohes Maß an Selbstständigkeit und Verantwortungsbewusstsein,
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse.
Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:
- Erfahrungen mit Systemen von Cisco und Juniper,
- Erfahrungen mit Splunk.

Who are we?
We are 50Hertz – one of the four transmission system operators (TSO) in Germany. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group. At 50Hertz, over 2,100 employees ensure that electricity flows over long distances reliably, with minimal loss, and optimally managed. As a TSO, we play a central role in the implementation of the energy transition from a technical and economic perspective, acting as a facilitator. As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
