Das macht den Job für mich interessant: 50Hertz entwickelt das Next Generation Modular Control Center System (MCCS), um die Anforderungen an die Digitalisierung in der Energiewende zu erfüllen. Als entscheidendes Element der Grundversorgung muss dieses System höchste Anforderungen an Qualität, Sicherheit und Zuverlässigkeit erfüllen. Diese müssen für die Entwicklungsteams transparent und nachvollziehbar gemacht und gleichzeitig die Umsetzung bzw. Einhaltung überprüft werden.       


Relevante Aspekte sind dabei die Umsetzung von grundlegenden Architektur- und Entwicklungsrichtlinien, die kontinuierliche Überprüfung der Software durch (automatisierte) Tests, die Einhaltung von Compliance-Richtlinien sowie die Integration in bestehende Maßnahmen zur Aufrechterhaltung eines 24/7-Betriebs (BCM).  


Als Platform Quality Engineer treibe ich mit einem Team aus fachlichen Spezialist*innen die Definition und Ausgestaltung dieser Richtlinien voran und unterstütze die Teams bei der Umsetzung. Ich gestalte unsere zukunftweisende Steuerungssoftware mit und begleite die damit verbundene Entwicklung der Plattformstrategie und Datennutzung hautnah.

Meine Aufgaben:

  • Ich gestalte mit deinem Team aus Spezialist*innen die Richtlinien und Standards für die folgenden Themenbereiche:
    • Development- und Architekturrichtlinien,
    • IT-Security,
    • Testmanagement (klassisch bis hin zu Chaos Engineering),
    • License Compliance und Vulnerability Management,
    • Business Continuity Management.
  • Gemeinsam mit Anwender*innen und Fachspezialist*innen prüfe ich bestehende Ansätze und Konzepte in den Bestandssystemen und entwickle sie für die neuen Anforderungen weiter,
  • Ich berate und unterstütze unserer Entwicklungsteams in der Umsetzung dieser zentralen Vorgaben und schaffe ggf. das Verständnis für deren Notwendigkeit,
  • Ich plane und steuere zentrale Aktivitäten zur Überprüfung der Umsetzung, z. B. Penetrationstests, Einsatz von Chaos Monkeys, externe Audits usw.,
  • Ich schaffe Transparenz über die Umsetzung für Product Owner, Product Leads und Senior Management und bin zentrale Ansprechpartner*in für strategische Rückfragen,
  • Ich steuere die Aktivitäten deines Teams im Kontext unserer agilen Entwicklungsorganisation und stimme sie mit den Entwicklungsteams und unseren Stakeholdern ab,
  • Ich pflege mein Backlog, erstelle User Stories, stimme mich mit anderen Teams ab und präsentiere in Sprint-Reviews gemeinsam mit meinem Team,
  • Teilnahme an einer telefonischen Rufbereitschaft.


Meine Kompetenzen:

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium, vorzugsweise in Elektrotechnik, Ingenieurswissenschaften, Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Physik oder vgl. Naturwissenschaften,
  • Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Software für technische Anwendungen, idealerweise im Bereich Stromnetze oder SCADA,
  • Umfangreichere Erfahrung im Bereich Testen und Härten solcher Systeme und bei der Umsetzung entsprechender Konzepte,
  • Kenntnis der Herausforderungen im 24/7-Betrieb von kritischen Systemen und Fähigkeit, praktische Maßnahmen zu dessen Gewährleistung abzuleiten,
  • Grundlagen von cloud-native Software, Microservices- und Event-Driven-Architekturen sind für mich kein Buch mit sieben Siegeln,
  • Erfahrungen in agilen und klassischen Entwicklungsprozessen im Umfeld von komplexen Softwarelösungen,
  • Erste Erfahrung in der fachlichen Führung von (agilen) Teams sammeln,
  • Kreativität für neue Lösungsansätze bzw. lösungsorientiertes Produktdenken mit hoher Eigeninitiativ, 
  • Ausgeprägte Organisationsstärke, Überzeugungskraft und Teamfähigkeit,
  • Zielgruppenorientierte Kommunikationsfähigkeit,
  • Lernbereitschaft und Motivation, dich in aktuelle/neue Themen einzuarbeiten, 
  • Sprachen: Deutsch (Verhandlungssicher / C1) und Englisch (B2).


Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:

  • Schulungen / Zertifikate zu Scrum bzw. skalierten Scrum-Frameworks,
  • Erfahrungen in komplexen Transformationsprojekten bzw. der Ablösung von Bestandssystemen sowie im Umgang mit Business- und IT-Stakeholdern.

We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas.
