Das macht diesen Job für mich interessant: Als Chapter Lead MCCS Engineering gestalte ich den Aufbau einer neuen Engineering-Organisation in einem der strategisch wichtigsten Digitalisierungsbereiche von 50Hertz. Ich verantworte die Weiterentwicklung von Software Engineering, AI-Nutzung und Sourcing-Modellen und trage dazu bei, digitale Produkte für einen sicheren und zukunftsfähigen Netzbetrieb zu entwickeln. Dabei verbinde ich technologische Exzellenz mit organisatorischer Transformation und arbeite eng mit den Engineering-Communities von 50Hertz und der Elia Group zusammen.
Meine Aufgaben:
- Führung und Weiterentwicklung des MCCS Engineering Chapters sowie Förderung der Engineering-Kompetenzen der Mitarbeiter*innen,
- Aufbau und Etablierung von Engineering Standards, Best Practices und AI-gestützten Entwicklungsmethoden,
- Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer nachhaltigen Sourcing-Strategie einschließlich Steuerung von Onshore-, Nearshore- und Offshore-Partnern,
- Sicherstellung einer leistungsfähigen Engineering-Organisation für Entwicklung, Betrieb und Weiterentwicklung der MCCS-Produkte,
- Steigerung von Produktivität, Qualität und Lieferfähigkeit durch Automatisierung, Wissensmanagement und organisatorische Transformation.
Meine Kompetenzen:
- Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium der Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung,
- Mindestens fünf Jahre Führungserfahrung in Software-Engineering-Organisationen oder vergleichbaren Technologieeinheiten,
- Nachweisbare Erfahrung in der Steuerung und Weiterentwicklung interner und externer Software-Engineering-Teams,
- Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung mit Onshore-, Nearshore- und Offshore-Sourcing-Modellen sowie Lieferantenmanagement,
- Erfahrung in der Einführung und Skalierung von AI-gestützten Arbeitsweisen im Software-Engineering-Umfeld,
- Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch und Englisch verhandlungssicher (jeweils mindestens C1).
Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:
- Erfahrung in der Transformation von Software-Engineering-Organisationen.
- Kenntnisse kritischer IT-Systeme oder digitaler Plattformen im Energie- oder Infrastrukturumfeld,
- Erfahrung in DevOps-, Cloud- und Plattform-Engineering-Umgebungen.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
