Meine Aufgaben:
- Führung und Weiterentwicklung des Teams Compute Services einschließlich Personal-, Ressourcen- und Budgetverantwortung,
- Strategische Weiterentwicklung und Modernisierung der Compute-Plattform sowie Steuerung von Architektur, Lifecycle-Management und Roadmaps,
- Verantwortung für den sicheren, hochverfügbaren und wirtschaftlichen Betrieb der Server- und Virtualisierungsinfrastruktur im KRITIS-Umfeld,
- Sicherstellung von Compliance, IT-Sicherheit und Servicequalität einschließlich KRITIS-Anforderungen, Betriebsprozessen und Standards,
- Steuerung von Dienstleistern sowie enge Zusammenarbeit mit angrenzenden Infrastruktur-, Security- und Applikationsteams.
Meine Kompetenzen:
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung,
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Betrieb, der Weiterentwicklung und Modernisierung von Server-, Virtualisierungs- und Rechenzentrumsinfrastrukturen einschließlich Lifecycle-Management von Hard- und Software,
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der fachlichen oder disziplinarischen Führung von Teams,
- Fundierte Kenntnisse moderner Virtualisierungstechnologien sowie gutes Verständnis angrenzender Infrastrukturthemen wie Storage, Netzwerk und IT-Security,
- Erfahrung im IT-Service-Management (z. B. ITIL) sowie in der Bereitstellung und Weiterentwicklung von IT-Services,
- Strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise, ausgeprägte Kommunikationsstärke sowie sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse.
Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:
- Kenntnisse regulatorischer Anforderungen an kritische Infrastrukturen (KRITIS, IT-SiG, BSI-KritisV),
- Kenntnisse relevanter Sicherheits- und Compliance-Standards (z. B. ISO 27001, BSI-Grundschutz).

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.

As a Communication Scientist, I have transitioned into the IT sector from a different field.
