Das macht diesen Job für mich interessant: Ich gestalte das digitale Rückgrat der Energiewende, verbinde Compute, Storage und Network zu einer leistungsfähigen KRITIS-Plattform und präge deren Zukunft maßgeblich mit.
Meine Aufgaben:
- Disziplinarische und fachliche Führung von Führungskräften, Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung der Abteilung Core Infrastructure Services mit den Fachgebieten Compute, Storage und DC Network Services,
- Strategische Weiterentwicklung der integrierten Rechenzentrumsinfrastruktur für eine leistungsfähige, sichere und zukunftsfähige IT-Landschaft,
- Sicherstellung von Verfügbarkeit, Sicherheit, Compliance und KRITIS-Konformität der gesamten Infrastruktur,
- Steuerung der Modernisierung und des Service-Portfolios inklusive Roadmaps, Services, Standards und Betriebsprozessen,
- Verantwortung für Budget, Ressourcen sowie die Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Partnern.
Meine Kompetenzen:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder vergleichbare Ausbildung mit relevanter Berufserfahrung,
- Mindestens 15 Jahre Führungserfahrung in der IT-Infrastruktur mit Führung von Führungskräften (Teamleads),
- Breites technisches Verständnis über Compute-, Storage- und Netzwerkinfrastrukturen hinweg, mit vertiefter Expertise in mindestens einem dieser Bereiche,
- Erfahrung in der Steuerung großer Infrastruktur-Modernisierungs- und Transformationsprogramme,
- Kenntnisse regulatorischer Anforderungen an Kritische Infrastrukturen (KRITIS, IT-SiG, BSI-KritisV), idealerweise inklusive Erfahrung mit Nachweisprüfungen,
- Erfahrung im Aufbau und in der Weiterentwicklung von Teams und Organisationsstrukturen,
- Erfahrung im IT-Service-Management (z. B. ITIL) sowie im Aufbau eines abteilungsweiten IT-Service-Portfolios,
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in Compliance-Standards wie ISO 27001 oder BSI-Grundschutz,
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Stakeholdermanagement-Fähigkeiten, strategisches Denken sowie souveränes Auftreten in Krisensituationen,
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse (C1).

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.

As a Communication Scientist, I have transitioned into the IT sector from a different field.
