Das macht den Job für mich interessant: 50Hertz macht die Energiewende möglich. Dabei sind die Kolleg*innen und Stakeholder auf hochverfügbare Applikationen angewiesen, um zentrale energiewirtschaftliche Prozesse abzubilden und zu verfolgen. In unserem Prognosesystem werden zahlreiche Zeitreihen unterschiedlicher Prognoseanbieter gesammelt, validiert und an kritische Anwendungen in unserer Übertragungsleitstelle weitergeleitet.
Meine Aufgaben:
- Planung, Optimierung und Sicherstellung des operativen Betriebs einer Plattform für die Verarbeitung von Prognosedaten,
- Change-, Incident- und Problem-Management nach ITIL in einem komplexen technologischen und fachlichen Umfeld,
- Planung, Koordination und Durchführung von Deployments und Konfigurationen, Installation von Updates und Patches,
- Verantwortung für die Weiterentwicklung des aktuellen Prognosesystems und primärer technischer Ansprechpartner für die Anbindung von internen und externen Partnern,
- Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung und beim Betrieb eines zukunftssicheren Prognosesystems (MCCS),
- Enge fachbereichsübergreifende Zusammenarbeit, insbesondere zu den Teams der IT- Infrastruktur und der IT-Sicherheit innerhalb der Elia Group,
- Teilnahme an der IT-Rufbereitschaft (remote) zur Sicherstellung des übergreifenden operativen Betriebs.
Meine Kompetenzen:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium oder Ausbildung im Bereich Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder einer anderen vergleichbaren IT-bezogenen Fachrichtung,
- Mehrjährige tiefgreifende Erfahrungen in Planung, Betrieb und Weiterentwicklung von Client- Server Applikationen in einer vergleichbaren Rolle (Operations Engineer, IT Application Manager o. ä.),
- Erfahrungen im IT-Projektmanagement und in der IT-Providersteuerung,
- Kenntnisse des ITIL-basierten Servicemanagements (insbesondere im Change- und Incident- Management),
- Kenntnisse über Datenbankmanagementsystemen, Zeitreihendaten, REST API, Messaging und Event Streaming,
- Vertrautheit mit Monitoring- und Logging-Tools (z.B. Splunk, PRTG, Grafana, Prometheus),
- Verständnis von IT-Sicherheitskonzepten und Best Practices,
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (C1).
Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:
- Erfahrungen mit Cloud Native Umgebungen (Microservices, Container orchestrators) und den gängigen Technologien (K8s, HELM, etc.),
- Erfahrungen in der Produktentwicklung mit Fokus auf Zuschnitt und Organisation von Services,
- Erfahrungen mit Python-/ML-Anwendungen zur Datenverarbeitung und Datenanalyse,
- Energiewirtschaftliche Erfahrungen und/oder Knowhow im KRITIS-Umfeld.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
