Das macht den Job für dich interessant: Unser Product Team „AI-Powered Grid Analysis“ entwickelt innovative Algorithmen zur Analyse von Lastflüssen in Übertragungsnetzen. Dabei setzen wir sowohl klassische numerische Methoden als auch moderne künstliche Intelligenz ein, um die Herausforderungen im Stromnetz der Zukunft zu adressieren und die Energiewende zu meistern.
Deine Aufgaben:
- Du implementierst effiziente Algorithmen zur Netz- und Lastflussanalyse,
- Du recherchierst und testest KI-basierte Methoden und Werkzeuge im Bereich numerischer Mathematik,
- Du analysierst große Datenmengen aus dem Stromübertragungsnetz,
- Du arbeitest eng mit anderen Produktteams und interdisziplinären Partnern zusammen.
Wir stellen uns vor, dass du…
- Dein laufendes Studium in Mathematik, Technomathematik, Elektrotechnik, Physikalische Ingenieurwissenschaft, Informatik oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang engagiert verfolgst,
- Starke mathematische Fähigkeiten, insbesondere im Bereich numerische Mathematik (z.B. lineare Algebra, Differentialgleichungen, numerische Verfahren) mitbringst,
- Interesse an Algorithmenentwicklung und Datenanalyse hast,
- Wünschenswerterweise Erfahrung oder Interesse an KI-Methoden (z.B. maschinelles Lernen, neuronale Netze) hast,
- Dich durch eine selbstständige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise auszeichnest,
- Elektrotechnische Vorkenntnisse sind willkommen, aber nicht zwingend erforderlich,
- Gute Deutsch- (B2) und gute Englischkenntnisse (B2) in Wort und Schrift aufweist, Kenntnisse in Französisch und/oder Niederländisch sind ein Plus.
Während des Interviewprozesses wirst du von uns eine kleine Coding-Challenge gestellt bekommen, die wir dann mit dir besprechen werden.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
