Hier übernehme ich eine zentrale Rolle in Weiterentwicklung und Betrieb der Java Anwendungen von 50Hertz.
Das macht diesen Job für mich interessant: In dieser Rolle übernehme ich eine technische Lead-Rolle mit starkem Fokus auf Softwarearchitektur. Neben der Entwicklung von Java-Anwendungen gestalte ich aktiv die Zielarchitektur hochverfügbarer, sicherer und skalierbarer Systeme im Regelleistungsumfeld. Ich verbinde Entwicklung, Architektur und Betrieb und präge damit die technologische Ausrichtung maßgeblich.
Meine Aufgaben:
- Technische Steuerung und Unterstützung von Entwicklungsteams sowie Übernahme architektonischer Verantwortung,
- (Weiter-)Entwicklung und Wartung von Softwarelösungen (Frontend & Backend) über den gesamten Service Lifecycle (Design, Build/DevOps, Run) in interdisziplinären Teams,
- Analyse, Behebung und nachhaltige Prävention von Produktions- und Stabilitätsproblemen,
- Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung von Service- und Betriebsstrukturen,
- Sicherstellung von Codequalität, IT-Sicherheit, Dokumentation und Einhaltung von Best Practices,
- Durchführung von Tests sowie Unterstützung von Release- und Betriebsprozessen,
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Betrieb, Product Ownern, Fachbereich und weiteren Stakeholdern,
- Konzeption und Weiterentwicklung von Softwarearchitektur, inkl. Definition von Architekturprinzipien, Zielbildern und Technologie-Stacks sowie Sicherstellung von Hochverfügbarkeit und Skalierbarkeit.
Meine Kompetenzen:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation,
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung mit Java, Spring Boot sowie JavaScript-Frameworks (idealerweise React),
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in Microservice-Architekturen, API-zentrierten Systemdesigns sowie hochverfügbaren, skalierbaren Anwendungen,
- Erfahrung im Design von Softwarearchitekturen sowie im Betrieb von Anwendungen (z. B. DevOps, SRE, Application Support),
- Kenntnisse moderner Entwicklungsprozesse (CI/CD, Versionierung, automatisierte Tests) sowie Erfahrung mit Containerisierung und Orchestrierung (Docker, Kubernetes),
- Verständnis für regulatorische Anforderungen und kritische Infrastrukturen,
- Sehr gute Englisch- (C1) und gute Deutschkenntnisse (B2–C1).
Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:
- Erfahrungen mit Entwicklungen in cloud-native Umgebungen,
- Kenntnisse in energiewirtschaftlichen Prozessen (z. B. Regelleistungsumfeld wie FCR/aFRR/mFRR),
- Erfahrungen mit regulatorisch geprägten IT-Systemen,
- Erfahrung mit agilen Methoden (Scrum, Kanban).

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
