Hier übernehme ich eine führende Rolle bei der Weiterentwicklung von KI und MLOps im gesamten Unternehmen.
Das macht diesen Job für mich interessant: 50Hertz engagiert sich seit langem für die Energiewende. Das Data Science-Team treibt unmittelbar die digitale Transformation im Unternehmen voran. In meiner Rolle verantworte ich die Entwicklung und den sicheren Betrieb von KI basierten Lösungen. In diesem Umfeld habe ich die Chance mein Know-how in der Zusammenarbeit mit Spezialist*innen kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln.
Meine Aufgaben
- Entwicklung und Wartung von Anwendungen: Schreibe sauberen, effizienten und skalierbaren Python-Code zur Unterstützung von maschinellen Lernlösungen und Anwendungen.
- Service Management: Überwache die Bereitstellung, Überwachung und Wartung von ML- Modellen in Produktionsumgebungen, einschließlich im Bereitschaftsdienst (24*7).
- Datenverarbeitung: Vorbereiten, Bereinigen und Transformieren von Daten für die Verwendung in maschinellen Lernmodellen, um qualitativ hochwertige Datensätze sicherzustellen.
- Integration und Bereitstellung: Optimierung und Skalierung von maschinellen Lern-Workflows für die Bereitstellung in Produktionsumgebungen, um Effizienz und Leistung zu gewährleisten.
- Zusammenarbeit: Zusammenarbeit mit Data Scientists, ML Engineers und Data Engineers, um Anforderungen zu verstehen, Lösungen umzusetzen und eine reibungslose Integration sicherzustellen.
- Dokumentation: Pflege einer klaren und umfassenden Dokumentation des Codes, der Prozesse und Modelle für zukünftige Entwicklungen.
- Aktives Mitglied des Data Chapter: Teilen der Ergebnisse innerhalb der Chapters, Product- Cluster und ggf. Konferenzen; Abstimmung von Schnittstellen & Standards innerhalb der Elia Group.
- Ich bin Ambassador für KI und MLOps im gesamten Unternehmen und bin auf dem neuesten Stand der KI- und Advanced Analytics-Techniken.
Meine Kompetenzen
- Erfahrung: 5+ Jahre in einer verwandten Funktion im Bereich Data Science / Engineering,
- Programmierkenntnisse: Ausgeprägte Kenntnisse in Python und seinen Bibliotheken/Frameworks wie NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch und Flask/FastAPI,
- Expertise im Bereich des maschinellen Lernens: Praktische Erfahrung mit ML -Algorithmen, Datenvorverarbeitung, Feature-Engineering und Modellbewertungstechniken,
- Operative Fähigkeiten: Kenntnisse von Monitoring-Tools für ML-Dienste (z. B. Prometheus, Grafana usw.),
- Problemlösung: Ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten im Bereich Debugging und Fehlerbehebung zur Behebung von Problemen in Produktionssystemen,
- Datenverarbeitung: Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit großen Datensätzen und Datenbanken (z. B. SQL, MongoDB oder ähnliches),
- Versionskontrolle: Vertrautheit mit Git und kollaborativen Entwicklungsworkflows,
- Cloud-Plattformen: Erfahrung mit Cloud-Diensten (z. B. AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI oder Azure ML) ist von Vorteil,
- Kommunikationsfähigkeiten: Fähigkeit, technische Konzepte sowohl technischen als auch nicht - technischen Stakeholdern zu erklären.
Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:
- Ausgeprägtes Verständnis von Kafka,
- Erfahrung mit MLFlow,
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit AzureML.

Who are we?
We are 50Hertz – one of the four transmission system operators (TSO) in Germany. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group. At 50Hertz, over 2,100 employees ensure that electricity flows over long distances reliably, with minimal loss, and optimally managed. As a TSO, we play a central role in the implementation of the energy transition from a technical and economic perspective, acting as a facilitator. Our goal is to integrate 100 percent renewable energy into the grid and system securely and affordably by 2032.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
