As a Data Insight Specialist for the Asset Management department, you will play a central role in supporting us on our transformation journey and leveraging our asset data for better decision making. A new asset performance software is currently being implemented and good data quality is essential to fully utilize its functionalities and support/automate our processes.
We are looking for a passionate individual to fill this unique role at the intersection of data, assets and energy.

Your tasks:

• You will work with asset managers across the various asset fleets to a) identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and b) monitor existing data quality,
• You will identify data quality issues and ensure that proposed solutions are followed up. To do this, the establishment of data governance will be critical, and you will play a major role in its design and maintenance,
• Data Insight Specialists will act as a point of contact for both asset managers and product/business owners and will be responsible for creating and implementing asset data management concepts,
• They create the data roadmap with the data owners and draft proposals on how to enable the use of this data,
• You network with other affected internal stakeholders from the various business areas such as IT, Digital & Data and Network Operations to ensure continuous coordination,
• As an admin user, you will provide hands-on support for the existing digital asset performance management tool,
• You will work with the product owners to help shape and implement strategic digital initiatives in the area of AM,
• Draft reports and presentations in preparation for workshops/meetings,
• Moderation of design thinking and ideation workshops.

The exact scope of your work will be discussed individually based on your experience, knowledge and interests.

Your competencies:

• Degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or an energy-related degree,
• Initial experience in data analysis, knowledge of SQL, Python or other analysis tools,
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience,
• Passion for data,
• A determined attitude, natural curiosity, lateral thinker,
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
• Excellent problem-solving skills,
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills,
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and dynamic environments,
• Very good command of English (C1) and good command of German (B2) required.

Not a must, but an advantage:

• Familiarity with product management concepts and practices,
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) is an advantage.
