Deine Aufgaben – Ein Blick in die Praxis
Im Rahmen Deiner Berufsausbildung trägst Du u.a. dazu bei, dass...
- Die Energiewende in verschiedenen Projekten sichergestellt wird,Ddie Bedarfe unter anderem im Bereich Treasury sicherzustellen — beispielsweise durch die Sicherstellung des Zahlungsverkehrs und Unterstützung bei der Gelbeschaffung und Geldanlage,
- Du andere Bereiche kennenlernst, um interne Prozesse effektiver gestalten zu können, dazu gehören unter anderem das Rechnungswesen oder das Controlling,
- Du dich in eigenen Projekten verantwortest — dabei können diese ebenso Analysen wie auch Weiterentwicklungen unserer Prozesse (unter Einbeziehung von KI) zum Cash Management, des Geldhandels oder des Zahlungsverkehrs umfassen,
- Die Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Banken verbessert wird,
- Und die Kommunikation und der Austausch mit unseren internationalen Kolleg*innen noch intensiver gestaltet wird.
In drei Jahren absolvierst Du die Berufsausbildung zur/ zum Industriekauffrau/-mann und wechselst regelmäßig zwischen Ausbildungs- und Praxisphase, d.h. zwischen privater Berufsschule (AfbB) und 50Hertz, um Dein frisch erworbenes theoretisches Wissen im Umfeld eines wachsenden Unternehmens der Energiebranche praktisch zu erproben. Deine Prüfung legst du – wie üblich – vor der IHK ab.
Dein Profil
- (bevorstehender) Schulabschluss mit guten bis sehr guten Noten,
- Interesse an der Energiewende und Spaß im professionellen Umgang mit modernen Kommunikationsmitteln sowie IT,
- Motivation, Neues zu lernen und Verantwortung für erste eigene Projekte zu übernehmen,
- Pflichtbewusstsein, strukturierte Herangehensweise und Eigeninitiative,
- Teamfähigkeit, Durchhaltevermögen und Sorgfalt,
- Gutes Zahlenverständnis und keine Angst vor „großen Zahlen“,
- Spaß bei der Verwendung von Tabellenkalkulationen und Datenbanken,
Ausgeprägtes Interesse an bürowirtschaftlichen und -organisatorischen Abläufen sowie ein grundlegendes Verständnis für unternehmerische Zusammenhänge, - Gute bis sehr gute Kenntnisse der deutschen Sprache in Wort und Schrift (C1),
- Gute Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift (B2).

A job with a future
As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
Whether you work on a platform, on substations, or in the office, if you want to work actively to combat climate change, you will find that the offshore division provides opportunities for meaningful work. What I particularly appreciate about 50Hertz is the opportunity to get to know numerous different departments and thus gain a comprehensive insight into the company. Even during my first year, I was given a lot of trust and responsibility. I also had the opportunity to work with great teams and experience joint activities such as team events, workshops and summer parties. This promotes cohesion and makes working at 50Hertz particularly attractive for me.
At 50Hertz, I am completing my training in an exciting and future-oriented environment. At the moment we are in the joint training, which gives me the opportunity to gain new experience and deepen my knowledge outside of 50Hertz. I find it particularly nice that I notice how well the training at 50Hertz prepares me for different tasks and how exciting it is to be involved in the future of energy.
