Unterstütze uns bei der Entwicklung und dem Betrieb von Prognosen und in der Umsetzung von Analysen und Monitoring-Tools aus dem Bereich der Energiewirtschaft.
Deine Aufgaben:
- Du führst Datenanalysen in unterschiedlichen energiewirtschaftlichen Projekten durch und entwickelst unsere bestehenden Analyseplattformen weiter,
- Du evaluierst neue Ansätze zur Weiterentwicklung bestehender oder neuer Prognosemodelle basierend auf Machine Learning und statistischen Ansätzen,
- Du entwickelst ein grundlegendes Verständnis für Prozesse in der Energiewirtschaft durch anwendungsorientierte Herausforderungen,
- Du unterstützt beim Betrieb und bei der Weiterentwicklung unserer Python-Datenapplikationen auf unserer OpenShift Container Plattform.
Wir stellen uns vor, dass du...
- Dein Bachelor- oder Master Studium in Informatik, Mathematik, Wirtschaft, Ingenieurswissenschaften oder einen vergleichbaren Studiengang engagiert verfolgst,
- Dich für die strukturierte Aufbereitung großer Datensätze begeisterst und du mit deiner selbständigen Arbeitsweise ein Teil unseres Teams wirst,
- Python als Programmiersprache beherrschst und Interesse hast deine Fähigkeiten weiter auszubauen,
- Grundkenntnisse über die deutsche Energiewirtschaft und die Energiewende besitzt und/oder großes Interesse mitbringst diese zu vertiefen,
- Sehr gute Deutsch- (C1) und gute Englischkenntnisse (B2) in Wort und Schrift aufweist.
Erste Vorkenntnisse in der Arbeit mit Datenbanken, Machine Learning, sowie in Dash/Plotly sind kein Muss, machen Deine Bewerbung aber zusätzlich interessant für uns.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
