We are 50Hertz - one of the four transmission system operators (TSOs) in Germany. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group. At 50Hertz, more than 1,600 people work to ensure that electricity flows reliably at all times, with low losses and optimised control over long distances. As a TSO, we play a key moderating role in the realisation of the energy transition from a social, technical and economic perspective. Our goal: to safely integrate 100 per cent renewable energy into the grid and system by 2032.

Hier bringe ich mein technisches Wissen bei der Gestaltung und Realisierung von Großprojekten mit LWL- und Monitoringsystemen ein.
Das macht diesen Job für mich interessant: 50Hertz ist führend bei der sicheren Integration Erneuerbarer Energien und engagiert sich seit langem für die Energiewende. Gemeinsam mit meinen Teamkolleg*innen kann ich unmittelbar daran arbeiten, innovative technische Lösungen für die Spannungshaltung im Höchstspannungsnetz zu implementieren und so das Netz der Zukunft aktiv mitgestalten. In diesem Umfeld habe ich zugleich die Chance mein technisches Know-how einzubringen und weiterzuentwickeln und somit meinen Beitrag für den Erfolg der Großprojekte von 50Hertz leisten.
Meine Aufgaben
- Arbeiten als Fachprojektleitung oder Fachspezialist*in mit der fachlichen Fokussierung auf LWL- / Monitoringsysteme in Leitungsbau- und Kabelprojekten,
- Mitarbeit bei der Erstellung von technischen Richtlinien sowie eigenständige Erstellung von technischen Ausschreibungsunterlagen für alle zugeordneten Planungs-, Leistungs- und Lieferumfänge für LWL- / Monitoringsysteme,
- Mitwirkung im Vergabeprozess und Teilnahme an Vertragsverhandlungen, inklusive Führung des technischen Verhandlungsteils,
- Termin- und Qualitätskontrolle der beteiligten bzw. beauftragten Bereiche und Lieferanten beim Aufbau der Kabel Monitoringsysteme, LWL-, Kabel-, und Muffen-Produktion – von der Verlegung und Montage bis zur Abnahme,
- Ausarbeitung von Qualitätssicherungskonzepten für LWL- / Monitoringsysteme und Kontrolle der Einhaltung von Qualitätsvorgaben bei der Planung und Umsetzung durch Dritte,
- Überwachung und Steuerung der Installation der Systeme in der Bauphase der Großprojekte.
Meine Kompetenzen
- Master oder Diplom in Nachrichtentechnik oder Elektrotechnik bzw. Bachelor mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung,
- Fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich LWL- / Monitoringsysteme oder die Motivation diese zu erlernen,
- Fundierte Kenntnisse der einzelnen Projektphasen und technischen Rahmenbedingungen aus Projekten in der Energiewirtschaft,
- Deutsch- und Englischsprachkenntnisse auf B2-Niveau.
Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Betrieb, der Planung oder der Errichtung von linearen Höchstspannungsanlagen,
- Erfahrung in der Koordinierung und Durchführung von Werksprüfungen und Abnahmen.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
