Ich bin verantwortlich für den Stromhandel im Short- und Longterm Zeitbereich und unterstütze bei der Entwicklung von IT-Lösungen, um Prozesse im Handelsteam (Eigenentwicklung) zu optimieren.
Das macht den Job für mich interessant: 50Hertz engagiert sich seit langem für die Energiewende. Im Team des Front Office in der Spezialisierung Handel kann ich unmittelbar daran arbeiten, die Bewirtschaftung diverser Bilanzkreise zu verantworten und Innovationen zu implementieren, um die Energiewende erfolgreich mitzugestalten. Ich arbeite hier an fachgebiets- und bereichsübergreifenden Projekten mit. In diesem Umfeld habe ich zugleich die Chance mein Know-how in Stromhandel, IT-Projekten und in der Zusammenarbeit mit Spezialist*innen kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln.
Meine Aufgaben:
- Steuerung und Optimierung des Handels beim Futures-, Day Ahead- und Intradayhandel zum Bewirtschaften der vom Front Office zu verantwortenden Bilanzkreise im Dreischichtbetrieb (24/7),
- Einführung und Durchführung neuer Handelsprozesse, insbesondere getrieben durch Vorgaben des Regulators bzw. neuer gesetzlicher Bestimmungen,
- Kommunikation und Reporting von operativen Prozesskennzahlen sowie zur Planung und zu Projektfortschritten des Fachgebietes,
- Mitarbeit an fachgebiets- und bereichsübergreifenden Projekten,
- Interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit mit dem Team Regelleistung. Bei Bedarf Übernahme der Verantwortlichkeiten der Regelenergieauktionen.
Meine Kompetenzen:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik, Energietechnik/-wirtschaft, Physik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder vergleichbar,
- Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (in Wort und Schrift), Verhandlungssicher (C1),
- Grundlegende Deutschkenntnisse (in Wort und Schrift),
- Durch die Arbeit in systemkritischer Umgebung muss die Sicherheitsüberprüfung des BND bestanden werden.
Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:
- Französischkenntnisse,
- Umfassende Programmiererfahrung in Python, VBA oder SQL sind willkommen.

We are 50Hertz – one of the four transmission system operators (TSO) in Germany. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group. At 50Hertz, over 2,100 employees ensure that electricity flows over long distances reliably, with minimal loss, and optimally managed. Behind the Scenes
As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
