Unterstütze uns bei der Anwendung und Entwicklung von Markt- und Netzanalysen zur Beantwortung aktueller energiewirtschaftlicher Fragen sowie der Auswertung großer Datenmengen.
Deine Aufgaben:
- Du erstellst Modelle mit PyPSA-Eur zu aktuellen energiewirtschaftlichen Fragen und führst damit ad-hoc Analysen aus dem Bereich Energiewirtschaft durch,
- Du entwickelst Auswerteroutinen mit Python zur Aufbereitung und Analyse von Modellierungsergebnissen,
- Du unterstützt uns bei der Erstellung von Dokumentationen sowie aussagekräftigen Power-Point Präsentationen und stellst deine Ergebnisse vor.
Wir stellen uns vor, dass du...
- Dein fortgeschrittenes Bachelor- oder Masterstudium in Ingenieurs-, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder Mathematik mit Vertiefung in Energietechnik, Energiewirtschaft, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung engagiert verfolgst,
- Python als Programmiersprache beherrschst, bereits Erfahrungen mit PyPSA/PyPSA-Eur gesammelt und Interesse daran hast, deine bisherigen Fähigkeiten weiter auszubauen,
- Die gängigen MS-Office-Programme (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) gut beherrschst,
- Großes Interesse und im Optimalfall bereits Kenntnisse zu energiewirtschaftlichen Zusammenhängen hast,
- Über sehr gute Deutsch- (C1) und gute Englischkenntnisse (B2) in Wort und Schrift verfügst,
- Mit deiner selbstständigen Arbeitsweise und proaktiven Kommunikationsfähigkeit schnell ein wichtiger Teil unseres Teams wirst.
Erste Vorkenntnisse in der Arbeit mit großen Datensätzen, Optimierung sowie Erfahrungen mit Solvern sind kein Muss, machen Deine Bewerbung aber zusätzlich interessant für uns.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
