Das macht den Job für mich interessant: Ich begeistere mich für die Energiewende – dabei ist für mich klar, dass eine effiziente Energiewende nur mit den passenden regulatorischen und marktlichen Rahmenbedingungen funktionieren kann. Meine Stärken liegen im Verständnis des Strommarktes und in meiner starken Kommunikations- und Überzeugungsfähigkeit. Ich habe Spaß daran, komplexe Wirkzusammenhänge zu verstehen, darauf basierend Ideen zu entwickeln und diese im Austausch mit anderen Menschen auszudetaillieren.
Meine Aufgaben
- Ich arbeite im Team am Design und dem Aufbau eines effizienten und pragmatischen Kapazitätsmarktes in Deutschland und wirke maßgeblich an der Positionierung von 50Hertz zu diesem Thema mit,
- Dafür stimme ich mich mit vielen anderen Bereichen bei 50Hertz ab und nutze die Erfahrungen, die es in der Elia-Gruppe zu dem Thema bereits gibt, bestmöglich,
- Ich denke das Thema „vom Ende her“ und habe daher bei der Ausgestaltung auch die operative Umsetzung auf dem Schirm,
- Außerdem arbeite ich du sehr eng mit den anderen deutschen Übertragungsnetzbetreibern zusammen und vertrete die 50Hertz-Positionen in entsprechenden Gremien,
- Nach außen vertrete ich die 50Hertz-Interessen gegenüber Verbänden, dem BMWK sowie der BNetzA,
- Ich unterstütze das Team durch Erstellen von quantitativen Analysen zu aktuellen Fragestellungen im Kontext Kapazitätsmärkte, aber auch darüber hinaus.
Meine Kompetenzen
- Abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektrotechnik, Energietechnik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, oder ähnliches,
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse des gesetzlichen und regulatorischen Rahmens der Elektrizitätswirtschaft
Deutschland und Europa, - Erfahrungen im Bereich Strommarktdesign,
- Präzise Kommunikation, Präsentationsstärke sowie Überzeugungsfähigkeit,
- Mindestens dreijährige Berufserfahrung in der Energiewirtschaft, idealerweise bei einem Erzeuger, Netzbetreiber oder einem Verband,
- Sprachen: Sehr gute Deutschkennnisse (C1) und Englisch fließend (B2).
Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil
- Erfahrungen im Bereich Kapazitätsmechanismen,
- Erfahrungen im Projektmanagement, z.B. Implementierung von Prozessveränderungen, neuen IT-Systemen
o.ä. in Unternehmen, - Erfahrungen in der Datenanalyse und -visualisierung mit Skriptsprachen wie z.B. Python und R sowie
Azure Databricks.

Who are we?
We are 50Hertz – one of the four transmission system operators (TSO) in Germany. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group. At 50Hertz, over 2,100 employees ensure that electricity flows over long distances reliably, with minimal loss, and optimally managed. As a TSO, we play a central role in the implementation of the energy transition from a technical and economic perspective, acting as a facilitator. Our goal is to integrate 100 percent renewable energy into the grid and system securely and affordably by 2032.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
