We are 50Hertz - one of the four transmission system operators (TSOs) in Germany. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group. At 50Hertz, more than 1,600 people work to ensure that electricity flows reliably at all times, with low losses and optimised control over long distances. As a TSO, we play a key moderating role in the realisation of the energy transition from a social, technical and economic perspective. Our goal: to safely integrate 100 per cent renewable energy into the grid and system by 2032.

Das macht diesen Job für mich interessant: In der Stromversorgung und der Umsetzung der Energiewende haben Sicherheit und Resilienz bei 50Hertz höchste Priorität. Ob technische, personelle und organisatorische Sicherheitsmaßnahmen, Veranstaltungssicherheit, Reisesicherheit oder Notfall- und Krisenmanagement, dies alles obliegt der Verantwortung der Unternehmenssicherheit von 50Hertz. Ich kann hier die Themen der Unternehmenssicherheit aktiv mitgestalten und das Stromnetz für die Energiewende sicher aufstellen – an Land und auf hoher See.
Meine Aufgaben
- Ich entwickle unsere Offshore-Sicherheitsstrategie kontinuierlich weiter,
- Das Offshore-Sicherheitskonzept gestalte ich hinsichtlich baulicher, technischer sowie personeller Sicherheits- und Interventionsmaßnahmen (auch in Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Partnern),
- Ich bin die Ansprechperson für alle Offshore-Sicherheitsfragen im Team der Unternehmenssicherheit und beurteile die Sicherheitslage (insbesondere Schwerpunkt Offshore) anhand von Ereignissen und Lageinformationen fortlaufend und erkenne Risiken frühzeitig,
- Ich leite Projekte zur Pilotierung und Implementierung von Sicherheitsmaßnahmen und arbeite eng mit Sicherheitsbehörden, Ministerien und weiteren Stakeholdern, u.a. in Gremien, zusammen,
- Ich begleite und unterstütze Sicherheits- und Forschungsprojekte der maritimen Sicherheit,
- Ich verantworte anlassbezogen weitere Themen und Projekte der Unternehmenssicherheit,
- In stressigen Situationen behalte ich einen klaren Kopf und unterstütze tatkräftig das Krisenmanagement.
Meine Kompetenzen
- Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss in einer geeigneten Fachrichtung z.B. Risiko- oder Sicherheitsmanagement, Rechtswissenschaften, Politikwissenschaften, Internationale Beziehungen, Politics and Technology, IT-Sicherheit,
- Alternativ eine vergleichbare abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung mit mehrjähriger Berufserfahrung bei Behörden mit Sicherheitsbezug oder der Konzern-/Unternehmenssicherheit eines Unternehmens,
- Erfahrung in der Arbeit einer Konzern-/Unternehmenssicherheit,
- Fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich der Sicherheitstechnik,
- Starkes konzeptionelles und systemisches Denkvermögen sowie ein hohes Maß an Selbstorganisation,
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten, Deutsch (C2) und Englisch (mindestens B2),
- Fahrerlaubnis für den PKW,
- Ausgeprägtes Sicherheitsbewusstsein sowie Steuerungsfähigkeit, Durchsetzungsstärke und ein souveränes Auftreten.

Towards a successful energy transition in a sustainable world
As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
