We are 50Hertz - one of the four transmission system operators (TSOs) in Germany. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group. At 50Hertz, more than 1,600 people work to ensure that electricity flows reliably at all times, with low losses and optimised control over long distances. As a TSO, we play a key moderating role in the realisation of the energy transition from a social, technical and economic perspective. Our goal: to safely integrate 100 per cent renewable energy into the grid and system by 2032.

Ich plane und koordiniere Prozesse für den grenzüberschreitenden Netzbetrieb.
Das macht den Job für mich interessant: 50Hertz engagiert sich für eine sichere und bezahlbare Energiewende in Europa. Dafür bedarf es eines gekoppelten Stromnetzes in Europa, in dem Angebot und Nachfrage in Echtzeit aufeinander abgestimmt und die physischen Realitäten des Stromnetzes berücksichtigt sind. In meiner neuen Rolle gestalte ich nicht nur Prozesse für die Allokation von grenzüberschreitenden Kapazitäten. Ich stelle auch sicher, dass unsere Stakeholder adäquate Informationen zu Netz- und Marktsituationen erhalten und wir unseren regulatorischen Transparenzverpflichtungen nachkommen.
Meine Aufgaben:
- Entwicklung von neuen Konzepten und Werkzeugen für die Systemführung,
- Analyse neuer regulatorischer Anforderungen an die Allokation von Kapazitäten in Langfrist-, Day-Ahead- und Intraday- und Balancing-Märkten,
- Koordination der Implementierung entsprechender Projekte,
- Beitrag zur Umsetzung von Transparenz-Anforderungen,
- Mitarbeit und Interessenvertretung für 50Hertz in deutschen und europäischen Gremien,
- Verantwortung für Datenveröffentlichungen auf der Europäischen Transparenzplattform (ETP),
- Beitrag zur Weiterentwicklung der internen Tools und Datenwege.
Meine Kompetenzen:
- Mit Master oder Diplom abgeschlossenes Studium in Wirtschafts-, Sozial- oder Naturwissenschaften, vorzugsweise mit Schwerpunkt auf Strommarkt- und Netzthemen,
- Kenntnisse des deutschen Regulierungsrahmens, der europäischen Netzkodizes und des europäischen Stromnetzverbunds,
- Kenntnisse zu den Transparenzanforderungen für Übertragungsnetzbetreiber und Veröffentlichungspflichten,
- Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch und Englisch (C1).
Meine Berufserfahrung im relevanten Umfeld oder entsprechende Schwerpunkte im Studium sowie absolvierte Praktika machen meine Bewerbung für uns besonders interessant.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
