50Hertz is one of the four transmission system operators (TSO) in Germany. We transport electricity at extra-high voltage level. Übernehmen Sie Verantwortung für den Bau und Umbau von Umspannwerken und Schaltanlagen im Netzgebiet von 50Hertz.
Um Leistungsverluste beim Stromtransport gering zu halten, wird bei langen Transportstrecken die Höchstspannung von 380 Kilovolt bevorzugt. Überall da, wo die Spannung im Übertragungsnetz wechselt, werden Umspannwerke benötigt. 50Hertz betreibt aktuell etwa 70 davon.
Sie steuern und koordinieren den (tief-)bau- und stahlbautechnischen Teil der Umspannwerk-Projekte von 50Hertz. Mit Ihrer fundierten Facherfahrung, Organisationsgeschick und Teamfähigkeit sorgen Sie selbständig für die effiziente Vorbereitung, Planung und Abwicklung dieser Projekte und tragen so maßgeblich zu deren Erfolg bei. Dabei sind Sie auch verantwortlich für die Durchführung der erforderlichen Genehmigungsverfahren. Sie wirken mit bei der Weiterentwicklung von technischen Richtlinien und sorgen für die Einhaltung von Sicherheitsmaßnahmen.
Weitere Aspekte Ihrer Tätigkeit:
- Für Bau- und Instandhaltungsvorhaben erarbeiten Sie technisch-wirtschaftliche Variantenvergleiche sowie Entscheidungsvorschläge und wirken bei der Budgetbeantragung mit,
- Sie verantworten den bau- und stahlbautechnischen Teil von Ausschreibungen und sind technische Partner*in bei Vergabeentscheidungen,
- Sie verantworten die Realisierung von (stahl-)bautechnischen Projekten, steuern Dienstleister und führen Abnahmen durch,
- Sie sind ebenso verantwortlich für die Budgetverfolgung und Berichterstattung,
- Den Abschluss von Verträgen und Vereinbarungen mit Kund*innen und Verteilnetzbetreibern begleiten Sie aus der bautechnischen Perspektive.
Entwickeln Sie bei 50Hertz Ihr übergreifendes Verständnis von Bautechnik, Stahlbautechnik und Projektleitung in einem anspruchsvollen Umfeld gemeinsam mit Kolleg*innen intern und unseren Partner*innen extern kontinuierlich weiter.
Ihr Kompetenzprofil
- Mit Master oder Diplom abgeschlossenes Studium in einer bautechnischen Fachrichtung wie Bauingenieurwesen, Architektur, Wirtschaft mit Schwerpunkt Bautechnik, o.ä.
- Fahrerlaubnis Pkw,
- Sprache: verhandlungssicheres Deutsch (mindestens C1).
Idealerweise bringen Sie zusätzlich mit:
- Erfahrung bei der Vorbereitung, Planung und Realisierung von komplexen Bauprojekten,
- Kenntnisse der wirtschaftlichen, technischen und rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen der Energiewirtschaft,
- Versierter Umgang mit Microsoft-Office, SAP und iTWO.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.

Typical areas of work for construction engineers at 50Hertz
Asset Management: This involves developing the principles and guidelines required to handle the construction-related challenges that arise throughout the organisation.
Projects, cables, substations, and offshore: These divisions carry out all renovation and new build projects in our main areas of construction such as overhead power lines and cable traverses, substations, and switchgear, as well as offshore construction.
Grid operation: Here the status of our installations and structures is monitored, necessary actions are identified, and maintenance projects are initiated and implemented.
