Das macht diesen Job für mich interessant: 50Hertz ist einer der vier Übertragungsnetzbetreiber in Deutschland. Wir transportieren Strom auf Höchstspannungsebene. Die etwa 1.700 Mitarbeiter*innen des Unternehmens schaffen etwas, das bis vor kurzem noch unmöglich schien: Energiewende mit hohem Tempo voranbringen und gleichzeitig Versorgungssicherheit hochhalten. Die Frage nach den richtigen Projekten (Leitungen, Schaltanlagen, On- und Offshore) zur richtigen Zeit zur Erreichung dieses Ziels beantwortet das Portfolio Management. In diesem Zusammenhang bieten wir Ihnen an unserem Standort Berlin (unmittelbar am Hauptbahnhof) zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt die oben genannte unbefristete Position.
Meine Aufgaben:
- Leitung von Konzeptphasen von netztechnischen Bedarfen (d.h. Überführung von Bedarfen zu umsetzungesreifen Konzepten als Grundlage zur Beauftragung der Projektrealisierung) in enger Zusammenarbeit insbesondere mit Asset Management, Anlagenplanung, Netzplanung und Kompetenzbereichen,
- Ermittlung und Berwertung von Alternativen/ technischen Lösungen und Auswahl der Vorzugslösung (Scope),
- Kalkulation von Projektbudgets und Beantragung von Projekten gegenüber den Shareholdern,
- Bewertung der notwendigen Ressourcen und Beauftragung der Projektumsetzung,
- Aktive Begleitung/Steuerung von Projekten entlang des Stage Gate Prozesses,
- Ansprechpartner*in für ein zugewiesenes Teil-Portfolio und Portfoliosteuerung bzgl. Projektinhalten, Abhängigkeiten, Zeitplänen etc.,
- Visualisierung von Portfolio-Informationen (Portfolio-/Projektroadmaps),
- Sicherstellung der Datenkonsitenz /-aktualität aus Projekten im Rahmen des Portfolioprozesses.
Meine Kompetenzen:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Ingenieurwesen oder Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder vergleichbar,
- Ausgeprägte analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten,
- Eigenständige, strukturierte und zielorientierte Arbeitsweise und Erfahrung im Projektmanagement,
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten sowie die Kompetenz, komplexe Zusammenhänge adressatengerecht aufzubereiten, dies umfasst schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikation sowie Visualisierungen,
- Versierter Umgang mit PC-Standardsoftware, insbesondere MS-Office, sowie grundlegende Kenntnisse von SAP,
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1) und gute Englischkenntnisse (B2).
Eine Ausbildung im Projektmanagement macht Ihre Bewerbung für uns besonders interessant.
Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:
- Berufserfahrung in der Planung und Realisierung von (netz-)technischen Projekten bzw. im Projektmanagement,
- Technisch ausgeprägte Ausbildung/Studium in Richtung Elektrotechnik,
- Berufserfahrung in der Planung und Realisierung von Infrastrukturprojekten wünschenswert.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.

Typical areas of work for construction engineers at 50Hertz
Asset Management: This involves developing the principles and guidelines required to handle the construction-related challenges that arise throughout the organisation.
Projects, cables, substations, and offshore: These divisions carry out all renovation and new build projects in our main areas of construction such as overhead power lines and cable traverses, substations, and switchgear, as well as offshore construction.
Grid operation: Here the status of our installations and structures is monitored, necessary actions are identified, and maintenance projects are initiated and implemented.
