50Hertz is one of the four transmission system operators (TSO) in Germany. We transport electricity at extra-high voltage level. Hier gestalte ich das Management von Geodaten und verknüpfe sie mit anderen Projektdaten, um eines der größten Projekte der Energiewende zu unterstützen: SuedOstLink+.
Das macht diesen Job für mich interessant: Das Projekt SuedOstLink+ befindet sich in der Phase der Planung und Genehmigung, um in den nächsten Jahren den Grundstein für die Realisierung und Inbetriebnahme dieser Höchstspannungsgleichstromübertragungs-Verbindung (HGÜ-Verbindung) zu legen. Geodaten haben hier eine zentrale Bedeutung und daher bin ich in dieser Rolle mit vielen Projektbeteiligten im Austausch: Ich verantworte die Koordination und Weiterentwicklung des GIS-Datenmanagements unter Berücksichtigung bestehender Standards und in Abstimmung mit laufenden IT-Initiativen. Ich bin die Architektin des Masterdatenmodells und stelle sicher, dass die Einreichung, Einbindung und Veröffentlichung neuer Daten funktioniert.
Ich habe die Chance, mich inhaltlich im Management großer Datenströme mit vielen Schnittstellen weiterzuentwickeln und meine Kompetenzen in der fachlichen Führung von Mitarbeiter*innen auszubauen.
Meine Aufgaben
- Weiterentwicklung des Geodatenmodells für die Trasse,
- Fachliche Anleitung von (Geo-) Datencontroller*innen,
- Schulung und Koordination von externen Dienstleistern bezüglich Geodatenprozessen,
- Koordination mit dem Dokumentenmanagement,
- Key-User für die projektübergreifenden IT-Projekte mit GIS-Bezug im Unternehmen.
Meine Kompetenzen
- Abgeschlossenes Studium des Ingenieurswesens, Geowissenschaften, Informatik oder vergleichbar,
- Fundierte Erfahrung mit GIS Systemen (insbesondere ArcGIS, FME),
- Exzellente analytische Fähigkeiten und eine systematische Herangehensweise,
- Selbstständigkeit, Verlässlichkeit und Organisationsfähigkeit,
- Sprachen: Deutsch fließend (B2) / Englisch fließend (B2).
Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil:
- Erfahrung in Großprojekten,
- Erfahrung mit CAD-Daten, BIM und Dokumentenmanagementsystemen,
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung.

As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.

Typical areas of work for construction engineers at 50Hertz
Asset Management: This involves developing the principles and guidelines required to handle the construction-related challenges that arise throughout the organisation.
Projects, cables, substations, and offshore: These divisions carry out all renovation and new build projects in our main areas of construction such as overhead power lines and cable traverses, substations, and switchgear, as well as offshore construction.
Grid operation: Here the status of our installations and structures is monitored, necessary actions are identified, and maintenance projects are initiated and implemented.
