50Hertz is one of the four transmission system operators (TSO) in Germany. We transport electricity at extra-high voltage level. The company's approximately 1,600 employees achieve something that until recently seemed impossible: advancing the energy transition at high speed while maintaining a high level of supply security. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group. As a TSO, we take on a central moderating role in the realisation of the energy transition from a social, technical and economic perspective.

Deine Aufgaben – Ein Blick in die Praxis
Im Rahmen Deiner Berufsausbildung trägst Du u.a. dazu bei, dass...
- Lieferungen entgegengenommen werden und Waren mit Hebe- sowie Flurförderfahrzeugen be- und entladen werden,
- angelieferte Waren mit Blick auf Qualität und Zustand geprüft werden,
- mithilfe von Inventuren der Überblick über alle Waren und Materialien behalten wird,
- die gelagerten Gegenstände sicher und geschützt aufbewahrt werden,
- Transportaufträge fristgerecht bearbeitet werden.
In drei Jahren absolvierst du die Berufsausbildung zur/ zum Industriekauffrau/-mann mit Schwerpunkt Lagerwirtschaft und wechselst regelmäßig zwischen Ausbildungs- und Praxisphase, um dein frisch erworbenes theoretisches Wissen im Umfeld eines wachsenden Unternehmens der Energiebranche praktisch zu erproben. Deine Prüfung legst du – wie üblich – vor der IHK ab.
Dein Profil
- (bevorstehender) Schulabschluss mit guten bis sehr guten Noten,
- Interesse an der Energiewende und Spaß im professionellen Umgang mit den modernen Kommunikationsmitteln sowie IT,
- Motivation, Neues zu lernen und Verantwortung für erste eigene Projekte zu übernehmen,
- Pflichtbewusstsein, strukturierte Herangehensweise und Eigeninitiative,
- Teamfähigkeit, Durchhaltevermögen und Sorgfalt,
- Gutes Zahlenverständnis,
- Ausgeprägtes Interesse an bürowirtschaftlichen und -organisatorischen Abläufen sowie ein grundlegendes Verständnis für unternehmerische Zusammenhänge,
- Gute bis sehr gute Kenntnisse der deutschen Sprache in Wort und Schrift.

Towards a successful energy transition in a sustainable world
As one of the four transmission grid operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for high-voltage power transmission; control at this level is decisive for the stability of the grid and to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid association, working closely with colleagues throughout Europe. 50Hertz is part of a European company, working alongside Belgian grid operator Elia in the Elia Group. We work together closely in many key areas. Individual activities such as IT or purchasing are organised at the group level, which means that in these areas colleagues from Elia and 50Hertz work in a team from both Berlin and Brussels.
